ATL: a longer path for bass.
Advanced Transmission Line (ATL) loading uses a long, heavily damped path connected to the rear of the bass driver. The damping absorbs unwanted midrange and treble energy; the lowest frequencies travel through the line and emerge in phase with the driver’s forward output.
PMC says ATL is designed to deliver deeper, cleaner bass and greater efficiency. In the listening room, that low-frequency foundation supports the scale and weight of music while keeping bass controlled.
